Colaiste Dhulaigh’s Computer Club meets every Tuesday after school. All students are welcome!
We have expert HTML and Python programmers in our club, students who taught themselves such skills at home and are building on these in the club.
We are entering the Junior Spider Awards this year. More information can be found at www.juniorspiders.com
The awards are being held at Facebook in April 2015!
To download Scratch 2.0 go to http://scratch.mit.edu/scratch2download/.
With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge. Also visit www.scratch.ie for resources and news on competitions.
Check out the web pages that have been developed by our students – all code has been written from scratch:) Well done!
